Children are the future of our society. They will make history. We will enjoy the happiness if we provide the correct education and experience pain and tears if we give the wrong education. The influence of Family education, school education and social education to the child is profound and permanent. Among the three kinds of education, the effects of family education are the largest. Good family education help child acquire achievements. The family education to the preschool children has a more obvious advantage. It plays a crucial role in the intelligence development, the formation of morality and personality. This research is to understand the situation of urban preschool children’s family education of Deyang city, find out the existing problems, and puts forward the correct countermeasure. This research can provide a basis for the future preschool children’s family education in Deyang city. Furthermore, it also provides certain reference for the theory research and practice of preschool children’s family education.This research applies methods such as documentation, questionnaire and interview to study preschool children’s family education in Deyang city. This research makes preschool children’s parents of 10 kindergartens as investigation object. The contents include: the understanding of the tasks and aims of preschool children’s family education; the recognition of the importance of family education; the influence of family structure, family life style, family relationship and family upbringing on preschool children’s family education; The influence of parents’ education quality(such as cultural quality, moral quality, personality characteristics, and education knowledge, etc.) on preschool children’s family education; the education methods of preschool children’s parents; the education contents of preschool children’s parents; Parents’ expectation to kindergartens and preschool teachers.This research obtains the following results:Admirable points in preschool children’s family education in Deyang city are that most parents realize the importance of preschool children’s family education; have a harmonious family relationships; are ready to bear the responsibility of educating their children; can apologize to children when they make mistakes; respect the child’s interest in learning; can accurately express emotions in front of the children; and pay attention to moral education.Problems exist in preschool children’s family education in Deyang city are as follows. It seems that parents attach great importance to the preschool children’s family education.But in fact it is superficial. Most of the parents have no knowledge of the aims and tasks of preschool children’s family education. Their way of family life, family relationship, family upbringing have negative impact on preschool children’s family education. Parents have no proper family education methods. Their education contents are not comprehensive. Parents’ education quality should be improved. Parents rely too much on kindergartens.Based on previous analysis of problems, the author puts forward the following suggestions. The government should take measures to guide the preschool children’s family education and strengthen the supervision and management of some of the preschool education institutions. Parents should improve education quality. With the help of the cooperation between homes and kindergartens, parents should try their best do well in preschool children’s family education.
