The Autism contains social disorder. Joint attention is a vital component of the development of cognition and social. Music therapy apply safe environment, alternative communication and flexible form to envolving the autism children.Until now, few research forcus on music therapy improving the autism children’s joint attention, and most of the work in this area has been theoretical instead of the evidence-based interpret research. This research analysis is about music therapy design, applicaiton and assessment of the initiatiing joint attention(IJA) and Responding to Joint Attention(RJA) in Autism children.This study selects 3 autism children, subjects at the kindergarden, adopts A- B- A- B and single base multiple baseline design. Utilized the photography to collect data which processed by SPSS 22.0. Joint attention behavior was measured with the Joint attention part of EARLY SOCIAL COMMUNICATION SCALES(ESCS). Then, quantitative and qualitative analyses were made to judge the joint attention behaviors of the three subjects before and post the intervention. Then, the research arrives at the main conclusions as below.Firstly, music therapy improves joint attention of the autism children in kindergarden effectively. And the difference of most of the indicators has reached a significant level of 0.05. Initiating joint attention improve more significant than Responding to joint attention.Secondly, there is possibility in joint attetnion of ASD children.The ASD children can be sucessfully invoved in music therapy,and subjects in the intervention I scored nearly twice as high as in the baseline I.Thirdly, the RJA outcome of music therapy intermittently like wave form,moving towards the middle of Maximum average value in intervention and Minimum in baseline.Fourthly,the effects of music therapy are controlled by various factors,like the chldren’s ability,physical condition and music therapy context.
