Classical words is an important content of high school language in classical Chinese teaching, that is a prerequisite to learn classical chinese. The writings in classical style as the ancient written language, and daily communicative language difference is bigger, the function words in classical Chinese and modern Chinese function words in the difference greatly, so the teaching of classical Chinese function words is unavoidable. Students to learn classical Chinese function words, not only to achieve the purpose of read the simple classical Chinese and improve their aesthetic ability and ability to appreciate literature. Through the investigation, the author found that many problems still exist in the current teaching of classical words. In this paper, we try to do some research on the problems. Totally divided into four parts:On the first part, the significance and background of the research, the current situation of the research, the theoretical framework and the research methods and the innovation of the research are expounded.The second part firstly clarifies the concept of classical words. Then, analysis of the necessity of function words in classical Chinese teaching in senior high school language teaching, and to determine the nature of the Chinese Curriculum under the necessity of the teaching of function words in classical Chinese.The third part. Through the of Guiyang 40 middle school teachers and students conducted a questionnaire survey, and the survey data statistics and analysis, understanding to the current high school classical Chinese function word teaching has the following problems: teaching methods lack of diversity; teachers and students utilitarian; teaching objectives to hold improper; students’ learning lack of initiative. At the same time, through these questions of analysis for the following reasons: particularity of classical Chinese function words; teachers’ professional quality is not high; students lack learning motivation.The fourth part describes the effective way for teaching classical words in senior high school. By mastering the characteristics of function words from the words of and aiming at the problems existing in the teaching of high school Chinese classical words tactics: Based on the function characteristics of teaching; teaching based on the teacher’s professional accomplishment; based on stimulating learning motivation of function words in classical Chinese teaching.
