| History is a humanistic discipline, it has its own unique characteristics. In daily teaching, many historical knowledge are certain, the content of the involved is complex, the test methods is covered in knowledge. For a long time, history teachers lay particular stress on natural history ready-made conclusion of teaching, the students also formed the passive accept the knowledge learning attitude. As a result, the interest of students in learning history is reducing slowly, although the accumulated a lot of historical knowledge, the lack of independent and creative, poor ability to solve problems. In the high school of history teaching, teachers’ teaching methods have close relations with teaching quality and teaching level. Therefore, history education should pay attention to the development of the knowledge of history of the students, historical thinking, historical literacy.Debate teaching method is a highly comprehensive teaching method, it take the student as the main body, surrounding the motion by members of the group or the whole class the rebuttal, under the atmosphere of equality, freedom, through the debate promote students the digestion and absorption of knowledge, improve students’ learning initiative and enthusiasm, cultivate the students’ thinking ability. So we need to study the subject is that optimizing debate teaching method and making it better applied to the high school of history teaching, in order to solve the problems in the teaching process of history.This article is divided into four parts.
