The Structure Of National Badminton Research

The structure of sports competition was the inevitable outcome of the development of the system of sports competition. The study of the structure of sports competition had great significance on the reform of the management system of athletics sports in China, and was favorable to government’s macroeconomic regulation, control and supervision on sports competition. The structure of sports competition of China’s traditional advantage project- badminton was taken as the object of study, and the present situation of the structure of national badminton competition was analyzed in this paper based on Parsons’ theory of structure function and four basic functions in AGIL model, so that problems existing in the structure of national badminton competition could be found out, the corresponding suggestions for reform based on it can be brought in, and the construction and adjustment of the structure of athletics sports competition in China can be promoted.This paper was divided into eight parts, and the study around the relationship between structure and function was carried out in this paper.The whole background and the present situation of the development of China’s badminton competition were introduced, and a brief introduction of background was made in the first part. Meanwhile, a brief introduction was made towards purpose of study and significance of study. The object of study and methods were collated in the second part, the object of study set down as the structure of national badminton competition, and a brief introduction was made towards the application of the method of documentation, method of expert interview, method of logic analysis and method of case analysis in this paper. The third part was literature review.The whole evolution process of the structure of China’s sports competition was presented in this part, so that the evolution rule of event structure could be found out. The introduction of functional transformation and sports reform in the development of competitive sports were in the literature review, and the theory of structure function and study of the structure of sports competition were introduced at the final part in literature review, which laid a theoretical basis and reference paradigm in following study of the structure of the badminton competition. The concept of sports competition and the structure of national badminton competition were defined in the fourth part, and the development process of national badminton competition was introduced at the same time. The development of the structure of national badminton competition was divided into three different stages, namely starting period(1949-1959),structure layout period(1960-1990), structural reform and development(1991-). The growth rule of the structure of national badminton competition was held. Meanwhile, the case analysis of the structure of the international tennis competition was also included in this part. It concluded that the structure of the international tennis competition hadobvious levels, close internal relations, higher open degree, steady progression and other characteristics. The functional analysis of the structure of national badminton competition was carried out under the view of structural functionalism in the fifth part, and the influencing factors of functions were analyzed, so that the problems in the structure of national badminton competition and the related causes could be found out.Suggestions to optimize structure of China’s national badminton competition were provided in the sixth part from the following four functions: improvement of adaptation, maintenance of goal attainment,improvement of integration, and enhancement of mode-maintenance. The final part was a conclusion, which was a summary of this paper and pointed out the deficiency in the study.
