The modern medical systems have defined cancers as "incurable". Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women of all races. According to the different sub-types, pathological types and stages of breast cancer, the therapeutic strategy for the breast cancer varies widely among individuals. It has made great efforts and significant success in prevention and treatment of breast cancer by scientists and clinicians throughout the world. However, the traditional medical model focuses solely on patients from a physiological perspective without treatment strategies for the holistic crisis patients and their families are experiencing. Particularly, the traditional treatment for breast cancer focuses entirely on the physical recovery and does not pay much attention to patients’emotional needs and the important influence of family support.Family care becomes the main caring pattern of cancer patients in China due to the limitation of health insurance, the insufficiency of community health care resources and the tradition of Chinese culture. Thus, communication between patients and family members becomes an important element in the family care system. The effective and supportive communication plays an critical important role in pat i ent s’recovery.The purpose of this study is to access the effect of communication skills of patients’family on recovery of breast cancer patients, according to the change of communication by using the holistic service. Specifically speaking,1 Educate people in community regarding the breast cancer and explain all questions and concerns from breast cancer patients and their family; 2. Develop thematic learning Group on communication skills; 3. Enhance the communication skills of volunteer breast cancer patient through the learning of different temperament and personality determined by DNA and the improvement of the interpersonal relationship model.4. Outreach volunteer breast cancer patients’family members and promote the whole family’s communication skills through social work skills. Through group education, case work and outreach, the communication skills of breast cancer patients is highly improved and the family support play more important role in reducing the humiliation of patients, which gain more information about diseases and help patients positively seek treatment plan adapted to themselves.
