Due to significant defects in mentally retarded children in intelligence and adaptive behavior seriously affect the process of their socialization. A huge number of children with intellectual disabilities, but in the community of study, children with intellectual disabilities socialization research is rare.In order to help children with intellectual disabilities to better adapt and integrate into society, the author uses the method of participant observation and interviews to find and summarize the problems of children with intellectual disabilities encountered in the process of socialization, Suzhou PJ mentally retarded eight students for the study, the use of group work therapy mode melodrama ways to enhance the self-confidence of children with intellectual disabilities, so that they learn to communicate and cooperate with others, adapt to the surrounding environment and accelerate the socialization process.By "Chinese Adaptive Behavior Scale", before and after comparison service object behavior and performance, melodrama discovery method can effectively enhance self-confidence and self-efficacy service objects, learn to respect others and communicate with others.
