| Chemical image language runs through the whole process of middle school. Chemical image is not only frequently appeared in the chemistry teaching and learning, but also is an essential part in the college entrance examination. However, research related to student chemical image language understanding is seldom reported, Therefore, research on the students understanding of chemical image language research is very important.This paper includes two parts:theoretical research and empirical research. In the theoretical research part, this paper explained chemical image language related core theory which includes language and visual language and chemical image classification, and analyzed the influence factors of the students’chemical image language understanding and put forward the teaching strategy. On the basis of theoretical research, this paper organized a questionnaire about the understanding of chemical images of different grades of senior high school students from different schools, and summarized and analyzed the results. Finally, this paper obtained the conclusion and teaching inspiration of this study. Research result shows:In the level of language understanding of chemical images, the key high school students are better than the non key high school; there is not obvious difference in the understanding of chemical image language; Boys and girls are in the same level in chemical image language understanding overall, while exists certain difference in different type image understanding; with the increase of the grade and the continuous accumulation of the students’ knowledge, the senior students have a slow increase in the level of chemical image language understanding,In order to enhance the student’s understanding of chemical image language, teaching activities can be carried out according to the following methods in teaching: selecte appropriate image language expression and stimulate students interest in learning; strengthen interaction and guide students to explore the chemical image meaning; guide students to observe and enhance students’ image understanding ability; guide students to analyze the image and enhance students’ image processing ability; link theory with reality, enhance the ability of image understanding in practice; pay attention to the cultivation of students’ mathematical ability; guide students to build a perfect chemical knowledge system. |
