The information technology curriculum in Senior High School which is the most closely related to the development of information age, we should excavate the core value of education in this curriculum. The objectives of the information technology curriculum should not only focus on the basic knowledge and skills, but also to cultivate students’ thinking ability is more important. As we all know, computer solve problems through a variety of computer program and algorithm is a computer program of the soul. Therefore, learning the mode of thinking behind algorithm namely ’algorithmic thinking’ is the pursuit of the greatest value by studying the curriculum. And this thesis will take the algorithmic thinking as main line and explore the connotation、 value、status quo、 cultivation strategy about algorithmic thinking. The whole thesis is divided into six parts:Introduction Part:this part mainly elaborates the reason of choosing this topic, the significance of the study, and state related research at home and abroad, then find its insufficient about algorithmic thinking, finally illustrates the method of the study.Part 1:this part mainly illustrates definition of algorithmic thinking and the value for cultivating algorithmic thinking to student. Firstly, author summary the definition of algorithmic thinking. Secondly, discriminating some concepts related to algorithmic thinking. Finally, the thesis the value for cultivating algorithmic thinking to student: development of student and discipline.Part 2:this part carries on the thorough analysis to the essence of algorithmic thinking. Firstly, analysis the characteristics of the algorithm thinking:problematic, procedural, operability, certainty, and creativity. Secondly, illustrating the external representation:structured decomposition, symbolic expression, creative design, preferred evaluate. Finally, author comes up with five levels of algorithmic thinking.Part 3:Through the student questionnaire and teacher interview, author investigates the status quo and problems of cultivating algorithmic thinking to student in information technology curriculum:teachers have certain algorithm thinking, the level of the students’ algorithm thinking is low,<Algorithm and program design>is lacked, And analyzing the cause of the problems.Part 4:According to the status quo and origin, the author put forward some suggestions on the construction of the information technology curriculum system of high school from the perspective of the training of the algorithm thinking:design of curriculum goal in the view of algorithmic thinking,<Algorithm and program design> can’t be lacked, infiltration subject method and inquiry method, construction of evaluation mechanism for discipline thinking.Part 5:Algorithmic thinking training should be implemented to teaching. Finally, according to the characteristics of algorithmic thinking, the author proposes teaching strategy of algorithmic thinking training:set the problem situation, building problem structure, inspire multi-path symbol expression and thinking, exploring the mechanism behind knowledge.
