Stable development of the country, the peace and harmony, is closely related to the family. As the most important family relationship: parent-child relationship,their relationship which is good or not largely affect the family harmony, but also indirectly affect the society.Generational gap is due to the impact on the external environment and values, behavior orientation exhibit differences, a phenomenon of estrangement and even conflict, we can say the generation gap appeared, witnessed the rapid development process of human society, civilization and technology. Although gap existed in ancient times, but it’s not obvious or severe, with the reform and opening up the process of social development, the advancement of technology on the one hand to improve the people’s material life, on the other hand the problem appears, youth and the elderly generation gap become intensified. Especially in the family, the traditional parental authority began to crumble, the generation gap and the potential parent-child conflict paternity explicit growing. While these are inevitable process of social transformation processes, but it’s not beneficial to long-term development of society and achieve a harmonious society. Establish rapport equal parent-child relationship, is not only the scientific development concept, but also an important issue of family education building.Junior high school stage is the second "weaning" of the life, junior students appear the adult consciousness and a sense of identity and self. They have more time in school, and these reasons make the relationship become sensitive, estrangement and even opposition. Various newspapers reported the killing of the mother’s, and mostly the case of runaways are juniors. Therefore, to explore the generation gap between parents and children in junior secondary level, has more research value and significance.Sociologist Cooley believes that one of human nature can be educational. In view of this, the present study is intended to use pedagogy to explore parent-child generation gap. The study is based on Junior High School community of Wu Xi with 220 students and their parents, which adopted qualitative research and quantitative research method. The study also selected four representative household as a study subject in depth Learn communication situation between parents and children,and to learn about the subjective and objective reasons for the parent-child generation gap, while the combination of theory based on trying to find the relevant realize harmonious parent-child educational path and strategy.According to the survey, the results show that the junior high school students generally have a parent-child generation gap, which highlights the value of the idea and way of life, it also confirmed previous studies the older generation and the younger generation difference expression. The study also found that children’s gender, grade, and the age of the father have significant difference(P<0.05). In the influencing factors of the gap, the frequency of communication between parents and children, the frequency of conflict increases, the lack of understanding, the lack of listening and the reduction of communication satisfaction will cause the emergence of the generation gap andeven increase. In general, there is a serious gap between "educators"(parents) in the absence of dislocation or lack of education, outdated educational measures, lack of educational environment and the inconsistency of educational evaluation. And for families with good communication, their remarkable characteristics are: 1 Parenting style is democratic. 2 Parents can assume the responsibility of educators. 3 The goal of family education is relatively consistent. 4 Both sides to understand the depth, frequent communication. And, parents can follow the footsteps of the times,willing to learn new ideas and methods of education.Based on survey results, the research also puts forward the corresponding educational path and strategy: One is to build a family, school, society, "Trinity" of the education network, give full play to the role of family, school and social education. Second, parents and children carry out self-education, finally realizing the harmony. In the conclusion part, the emphasis should be on the open attitude, accept of the generation gap, use the generation gap, and regard the gap as a kind of education resources, constructing harmonious parent-child relationship in the generation gap and even conflict, further promote the harmonious family education and carry out smoothly.
