Knowledge of teachers will affect the teacher's thinking and behavior. Teacher's knowledge on how to teach the subject content, i.e. pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). It affects teachers' teaching activities, and it would be the core of teachers' professional development. It is essential to know what kind of pedagogical content knowledge is needed in teaching or before.This paper mainly studied what kind of conceptions of subject teaching, knowledge of learners and knowledge of instructional strategies for teaching, and how can they affect the PCK. The study pay attention to the part of space and figure in seventh grade, and chosen eight classes teaching by seven teachers who come from a few junior high schools in Jinhua City Zhejiang Province. The writer collected relevant information of the five subjects about space and figure, including pre-course instructional design, classroom and after-school interview memoir, then to see the Formulation and implementation of teaching objectives, understanding and dealing with the teaching materials, designing and teaching, and to understand the conceptions of subject teaching, knowledge of learners and knowledge of instructional strategies for teaching, it's a Qualitative analysis of teachers'pedagogical content knowledge on space and figure.Study found that teachers'PCK has four levels:The first layer, the conceptions of subject teaching, which came from the scientific understanding of subject and the "class standard".The second layer, teachers do the choosing and the teaching according to the conceptions of subject teaching and knowledge of learners. The third layer, do the implementations of the teaching design in the specific context. The last, feedback and reflection. Teachers can get recognition of the conceptions of subject teaching through the re-understanding of the class situation and students. Knowledge from feedback and reflection can react on the first three layers. Teachers' PCK is continually constructed and developed in this process. Survey the teaching of space and figure from the point of view of the teachers' PCK, and then made some recommendations on Mathematics Teacher Professional Development.
