The importance of local culture education has been gradually known by people,combine local culture with history teaching become an important direction for the high school history teaching development.The research about how to build the link between them was an important subject In academia.Yancheng is a city with a long history,many Historical sites, traditional culture and historical figures have remaind in this city. It has provided favorable conditions for the combination of native culture and history teaching, meanwhile, use local cultural resources and mining also has its feasibility and necessity. Yancheng have got some certain result the combination of native culture and history teaching, but there are still some shortcomings.Take Yancheng middle school for example, teachers and students were interested in local culture knowledge. The history teachers often introduced native cultural knowledge in the teaching activities, or add it to the exam topic, But from the point of student survey and teacher interviews, the level of Yancheng middle school to use local cultural resources is still low. Less knowledge of local culture was a common problem.Investigate its reason,the contempt of government departments,lack of human, financial and security, the ways of development were singleness. For the smoothly realized of the combination of middle school history teaching activity and local culture,Yancheng must make full use of local cultural resources to carry out classroom teaching activities, organize extracurricular activity, selectivity and selectivity, characteristic, lived culture, and strengthen the local professional knowledge attainment of teachers training, make good use of the evaluation system, and strive for the social from all walks of life support, fully explore the economic and social values of local culture resources.Analysis of the advantages and difficulties of implementation of local culture into the classroom in Yancheng, and use the relevant theories put forward views and suggestions of exploitation and utilization of local cultural resources in Yancheng city. So this paper can promote the Yancheng city middle school history teaching level, and provide reference for the practice in other parts of the country.
