Education disciplinary is one of the necessary means for teacher in the education management which is decided by the teacher’s vocational nature and the students’ characteristics. It is an incomplete education without disciplinary. Although the corporal punishment and corporal punishment in disguised form have been forbidden by the government, but the performance standards is not limited concretely yet, so that many teachers have confusions about the education disciplinary and corporal punishment in practice. Well then, It is necessary to know that teachers how to understand the education disciplinary and corporal punishment, how to gives punishment to the student and hold the sense of propriety on the boundary between education disciplinary and corporal punishment. A clear understanding of these problems will be provided the fact for the researchers to clarify the boundary about the education disciplinary and corporal punishment, which is beneficial to the student management and the class construction. It is good to promote the implement of education disciplinary reasonably, legally and fairly for the educators and school. And it is better to firmly safeguarding the legal rights of the students.The implement goal of the education disciplinary is educating students. The teacher gives the punishment to the non-standard behavior of students in reasonable methods to avoid the similar error. The start point of the teacher is to care about the student and boost the healthy development in body and mind. By mean of the theoretical research about the education disciplinary and corporal punishment, we find that there is one entire clear understanding for its content, specific means and the differences. But after the empirical study about the N center school in the process of interview investigation and the content analysis, we find that there are great differences in theory and in practice. In practice, rural primary teachers can not understand the concept and make a distinction between education disciplinary and corporal punishment. Some teachers deny education disciplinary and corporal punishment, they think that it is not necessary to carry out the education disciplinary, which accounted for 25%. Some teachers give up applying education disciplinary in consideration of its vague boundary, although they hold that there are differences between education disciplinary and corporal punishment which accounted for 35%. About 40% teachers have confusions about how to conduct education disciplinary, though they are in favor of education disciplinary and opposed to corporal punishment. In addition, teachers reflect some differences in the degree of carrying out the education disciplinary due to the distinctions in teacher’s age, subject, gender and post.Based on the study, it is not analyzed as previous researchers that there are serious corporal punishment phenomenon, the teacher has the faint legal consciousness, the corruption of morality, low quality, lack of professional ethics and so on, which led to the results that the teachers waive the education disciplinary or still choose corporal punishment. The real reason is that teachers have the vague understanding about education disciplinary and corporal punishment, which causes the dilemma situation when teacher implement the education disciplinary. It is important to reveal the dilemma and perplexity of primary school teachers and reflect the huge "grey zone" in theory and in practice. It is benefit to provide practical reference for clearing up the "grey zone". On the other hand, we hope to provide the real "sparrow" that is used to be dissected by researchers, in order to surmount disadvantages of ignoring the basic authentic education life in stead of the entanglement blindly in theory.
