An effective basketball training system for the youth is certainly essential for the China basketball’s long-term development. in 2015 Changsha Asian basketball championship, Our national team which was built of numerous young-talent athletes, beat basketball team of Iran,regain the crown of Asian championship, successfully obtained the tickets to 2016 Rio Olympic games,.The reason of this situation is simple, that is the modern basketball style is high-speed rotation, high intensity, high confrontation, it is a really suitable for young athletes to show their talent.China basketball youth training system is state-led system, and this system’s aim is to make basketball-training professionalized. In order to give more teenagers’ chance to attend basketball games, The CAAU League came into being by chance.Through i use the methods of literature, interviews, questionnaires, on-site observation, statistics and logical analysis to figure out the current status of CAAU basketball league, the conclusions are as follows:1, CAAU League is conducted by private organization, and it do have scale now,since 2012, the match has been held in 30 cities of the nation, the registration number of athletes has passed 10,000, and it intend to successfully hold games in 100 cities of the nation in 2016.2. The CAAU League’s core vision is making basketball as a part of the teenagers’ lifestyle. It use # I want to play# as a slogan,and it is a combination event of competition,training, selection, communication, interaction.3. The main problems of CAAU league are: the operation quality of the event needs to be improved, the supervision of local organizer is poor, lacking funds and sponsorship, the effect of media promotion is not obvious, comparing with government-led youth events is lack of professionalism.4. The countermeasures of CAAU League are: the event operations team needs to be strengthen, provide more training program and regulatory to the local organizer, find ways to attract effective sponsorship, change the existing media promotion methods to expand the social influence, find ways to expand the official channels, create distinctive features of the event.
