The Study On The Need Of Figure Skating Elective Course Openning And Its Responses For Physical Education Major In Changchun Universities

With the development of the sport on ice and snow, and outstanding achievements China has made in recent years, more and more people are concerned about the ice and snow sports. Constantly they take part in the ice and snow sports. Beijing was successful in bidding to be the host of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. So it will further promote the popularity of ice and snow sports in our country, and promote the overall development of competitive sports and mass sports in China. However, compared with the athletics ice and snow sports, ice and snow sports develops slowly in school sports and mass sports in China. In the northeast of China, there is a unique geographical advantage. But the ice and snow sports were mostly reflected in speed skating a single project in school sports and mass sports. The figure skating who has highly artistic expression, cultivated their minds and modeling beauty doesn’t get better development. Through the investigations of figure skating in Changchun universities, the author discussed the need of figure skating course. Through the analysis, the author tried to change the perception of figure skating in the universities, and completed the professional courses. It aimed to get well development to the figure skating and the diversity of mass ice and snow sports.Through the literature review, expert interview and questionnaire survey, the author found there were a lot of factors influencing the figure skating course open in Changchun universities. First factor is the student’s subjective perception. The students took the figure skating sports as a match which they would not try. The second factor is the school did not have its special grounds and other equipment for figure skating course. What’s more the school didn’t have high quality and professional figure skating teachers. It also didn’t have special teaching goals and content syllabus for figure skating course. The author mainly studied from the following aspects:The first part is introduction. The author briefly introduced the reason of choosing this subject and background. And analysed the development of figure skating. The author introduced the main content, research ideas and research methods. Finally, the author pointed out the significance and innovation of the study.The second part is about the investigation about the students’ intends to the figure skating course open in Changchun universities and investigation of the universities’ basic facilities for figure skating course. And then, through the experts interviews, the author made suggestions for the elective course of figure skating.The third part is about the necessity and feasibility analysis of the figure skating course. The author selected three aspects to analyse the necessity, such as the effect on students, mental health and aesthetic education. Feasibility analysis mainly includes the regional characteristics of Changchun, talent base, competitive foundation, venues and facilities in four areas.In the fourth part, the author set up the teaching program, teaching aim, teaching contents and teaching methods for the figure skating course. And made evaluation suggestions for the figure skating elective course. The fifth part, the author put forward the options for the figure skating elective course open in Changchun universities.
