With the reform of higher education, instructor’s role changes a lot. In terms of the actual condition of instructor, there are still many problem to solve. The instructor’s work in art college, doesn’t not fully take into account of instructor’s work duties and content specificity. Lacking of considering recruitment and evaluation and others, instructor’s work has been sluggish, which seriously affects the instructor’s team construction and further affects the development of Art students. As an effective method of human resource management, competence management theory has attracted the extensive concern of scholars domestic and abroad, and it has been applied into recruitment, training, performance assessment and salary management and other management practices. We mount competence theory into management work of college instructor, and build up college instructor’s competence management model by research. Based on this model, we carry on instructor’s recruitment, training, performance assessment and salary management and others which help instructor team to develop in the direction of special, scientific and professional. Therefore we can ensure the effective implementation of ideological and political education of college students. As a comprehensive college, A college contains science, technology, culture, art and other majors. In science and art, instructor’s work has its characteristics; however in comprehensive evaluation, it will be in a disadvantage. Through the analysis of A college, the author has provided effective reference to enrich competence management’s research which has great significance in promoting art college’s instructor management and cultivating comprehensive quality.Based on the above and previous research, through interview, questionnaire design, distribution and analysis, working on art college’s instructor competence management, the author concludes relative problems and measures of art college’s instructor competence management.This paper focuses on different groups:principal of students’ work, art college full-time instructor, art college students and others; focusing on the questionnaire of A college art instructor’s competence management, analyze the data. Through the actual analysis, the author sums up art college instructor competence’s dimensions and elements, the current conditions and reasons, and the existing problems. At the end of this essay, the author proposes relevant suggestions to make useful contribution to the practical guidance of research.Through the above investigation and study, author draws the conclusion:art college instructor’s competence consists of four dimensions:work attitude, professional ability, values, personal charming; each dimension consists of two level indexes (namely 12 elements); the current conditions:multi-resource, unreasonable knowledge structure; those abilities should be strengthened:psychological counseling capacity and emergency processing ability, learning and innovation ability, artistic accomplishment and personal charming and work efficiency.Therefore art college instructor should be trained from selection, training mechanism, evaluation, motivation, and professional ethics-building. We should combine the characteristics of art college in each part, and complete according to the requirements of competence elements so that we can promote the competence level of art college’s instructor. |
