Across The Taiwan Straits Korfball Sports Development Process Review And Analysis

On November 8, 2015, the Tenth World Championships of Korfball ended in Belgium, the national Korfball team constituted by Zhengzhou University and Tianjin University of Science and Technology achieved the best results of seventh place in the history of the game, while get the right to participate in the World Games held in Poland in 2017.The short 11 years, Chinese Korfball made a considerable progress. As a new project, drawing on the successful experience of others is an effective way to get a rapid development. The Korfball sport development in Taiwan region has been more than 30 years, we explore the history of its development, and summarize the successful experiences, identify the existed shortcomings, so that our Korfball sport can have a better and faster development.In this paper, we take the development process of cross-strait movement of the Korfball for the study, using literature data, expert interviews, comparative analysis, logical analysis, surveys and other methods to make a study on the cross-strait Korfball sports associations, teachers(coaches) Team construction Status, team building, participation in international competitions, research group activities as well as Korfball teaching, scientific research, high-level personnel training, social services, and the results show:1, The Korfball Associations in Taiwan region are more complete, including the county, city Korfball Association level.2, Taiwan region has more game levels, and group settings are more conducive for different levels of sports teams to have a good communication platform.3, The District Teacher(Coach) from continent and the Korfball players are lack of experience with an older structure.4, the construction of university sports team in China’s mainland developed rapidly, but it carry out more slowly in primary and secondary schools.5, the set of Korfball in College Courses of mainland is better, Zhengzhou University offers Korfball major in college, and the major fills a gap in the Korfball set of international higher education. However, there is also less Korfball course in primary and secondary schools.6, nearly half of mainland schools are organized different sizes of school league Korfball or Korfball school clubs and other group activities. the group activities carry out Schools in Taiwan region are not so many, but still rich in the form of conduct.7, Zhengzhou University in mainland of China is currently the world’s only one whose graduate school recruits Korfball players, which fills the gaps in the field.8, the mainland held two Korfball teaching and research papers reports, which fill the gaps in scientific research of the project.9, The Korfball movement social service in mainland is more systematic, and the country holds the courses for coaches, referees every year. And the Taiwan region social services are better, which organizes different levels of coaches, referees courses.Suggest:1 The mainland of China should speed up the establishment of local organizations Korfball association, establish the national, provincial, municipal, district(county) levels of the organization Association.2 the mainland of China should further hold Korf ball games at all levels, and set diverse group settings.3 The mainland of China should increase the training efforts on coaches and referees at all levels, and pay attention to the young teachers(trainers).4, the mainland should strengthen the echelon construction of Korfball athletes, and pay more attention to training young reserve personnel, so that our large and primary Korfball talent base can increase.5, the mainland should continue to take advantage of the college teaching, accelerate the construction of Korfball movement teaching materials, development MOOC courses of Korfball as well as the construction of quality courses and public courses.6, the mainland of China should further enhance the influence of research and Korfball, so as to serve the teaching, training, competition, management and the development of industry.7 the mainland of China should further strengthen the high-level personnel training, and strive to cultivate a Korfball with a doctorate professional.8, the mainland should strengthen the propaganda of new media and traditional media, so that our people can understand and participate in the different Korf ball movements.
