SWOT-AHP Analysis Of Baseball And Softball Development In Fujian Province Based On Cross-Strait Integrated Development

The development of baseball and softball in my country has a history of more than a hundred years.In this regard,due to the influence of the baseball and softball culture during the early Japanese colonial rule,baseball and softball flourished.Now baseball and softball has been rooted in the people of Taiwan.It is one of the important cultures of leisure sports and competitive sports;however,it has been affected by politics,economy,culture and other aspects in the mainland,resulting in low popularity and slow development of baseball and softball.In recent years,with the promulgation of the "31Measures to Benefit Taiwan" and President Xi’s proposal in 2019 to "make efforts to build Fujian into the first home for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises to land",the two sides of the Taiwan Strait have tended to develop in an integrated manner.In the context of cross-strait integration and development,there have been many Taiwanese compatriots participating in baseball and softball in Fujian Province.In the context of cross-strait integration and development,this study analyzes the development of baseball and softball in Fujian Province by combining literature,questionnaire survey,and interview methods,and explores the advantages and disadvantages of the internal and external environment for baseball and softball development in Fujian Province;and uses SWOT-AHP builds a hierarchical structure model to calculate the weights of the internal and external environmental factors affecting baseball and softball development in Fujian Province to determine the final development strategy.The results of the study concluded that:1.The opportunity of baseball and softball development in Fujian Province is the advantage of Fujian and Taiwan’s "five ties",which facilitates the development of baseball and softball in Fujian;the cross-strait integration policy promotes the development of baseball and softball exchanges between Fujian and Taiwan;Fujian and Taiwan have held baseball and softball activities for many times;Softball activities;baseball and softball activities to promote the integration of Taiwan compatriots into the mainland;baseball as a way to study.2.The threat of baseball and softball development in Fujian Province is the outflow of human resources;the professional management level of baseball and softball organizations is low;the development of baseball and softball lacks a stable source of funds;the baseball and softball associations and clubs in Fujian Province lack cooperation and communication;the epidemic affects baseball and softball activities.carry out.3.The advantages of baseball and softball development in Fujian Province are that baseball and softball are suitable for people of different ages;Fujian and Taiwan’s economic and social resources are conducive to the development of baseball and softball;compatriots in Fujian and Taiwan actively participate;official related departments sponsor and support baseball and softball activities.4.The disadvantage of baseball and softball development in Fujian Province is the low degree of marketization of baseball and softball;severe promotion of baseball and softball;lack of baseball and softball sports culture;lack of influence of baseball and softball stars;no development of baseball and softball talent echelon.Based on the above influencing factors,the AHP matrix model is established,and the weights are assigned to it through pairwise comparison,the comprehensive weights are calculated,and finally the "strategic quadrilateral" model is constructed.Through weight calculation,the comprehensive ranking of the total influencing factors of each dimension is O total > S total > W total > T total.The study believes that the development strategy of baseball and softball in Fujian Province for the integrated development of the two sides is mainly based on SO development,that is,giving full play to internal advantages and external opportunities.Research suggestions: Based on the advantages and convenience of policies and "five predestined relationship",strengthen the exchange of baseball and softball between Fujian and Taiwan;pursue the cooperation mode of Fujian government and Taiwan enterprises,increase the industrial investment of baseball and softball;improve the competition level system and develop the Fujian-taiwan baseball and softball competition system;Introduce teachers from Taiwan to train professional baseball and softball teams.
