Objective: Studying effects of amateur volleyball training on students’ physique and academic achievement, explore effects of amateur volleyball training on the girls’ grades, body shape, physiological function and physical fitness. Methods: Select girls in volleyball training in a middle school in Beijing City as the research objects. Use SPSS16.0 and Excel2010 statistical analysis software in Windows 7 system for the data processing and statistical analysis. Results:(1) four to six grade athletes training 5 times a week, every 120 minutes, a total of 600 minutes of training a week. First grade athletes training 6 times a week, every 120 minutes Monday to Friday, every 180 minutes, a total of 780 minutes of training a week..(2) Women’s volleyball athlete’s movement to improve our performance, in 2013 and 2014 exist significant difference is 36 meters mobile, serve; 2014 and 2015 exist significant difference is the standing long jump, smash, serve.(3) In 2013 the physical data, 32 women’s volleyball movement height was significantly higher than that of normal students; 2014 physique data showed, vital capacity of 32 women’s volleyball sports, 50 meter running, one minute sit up were significantly than general students.(4)The results of the 32 women’s volleyball team did not change during the period of two years of training.(5)There were no significant differences between the 32 women’s volleyball players in January 2014 and January 2015, and the average students.Conclusion:(1) 5~6 times a week after school training time, not only to ensure the quality of after-school training, but also did not delay the students’ daily learning.(2) Amateur Volleyball Training can effectively improve the mobile 36 meters, serving, spiking, standing long jump and four special athletic ability.(3) Volleyball amateur training for about 2 years can be appropriate to changethe development level ofpulmonary function, abdominal muscle endurance,and lower limb explosive forceet al.
