Physical exercise can bring people’s psychological benefits is an important part of the study of exercise psychology in recent years, the current physical exercise for the physical self-esteem and the influence of mood state gradually aroused people’s attention. With China’s aging trend is accelerating, more and more old people hope to improve physical and mental health level through physical exercise. Outdoor cycling is an emerging sports project, attracting more and more elderly people involved. Outdoor cycling exercise can promote the psychological health level of the elderly gradually attracted people’s attention. This article from the heart health effect of outdoor cycling exercise, outdoor cycling exercise and to explore the relationship between the load intensity and the elderly physical self-esteem and mood state.Using the method of questionnaire,312 old people in Jinzhou area were selected as the research subjects (male 193, female 119). Hierarchical regression statistical analysis of the data.Research ideas:controlling the demographic variables, for outdoor cycling exercise group and non exercise group the elderly physical self-esteem, and mood state were compared and analyzed; then under the control of demographic variables for outdoor cycling exercise level in the elderly group (low, middle, high) and physical self-esteem and mood state were compared respectively.Results show that:in an outdoor cycling exercise in old people in the body self-esteem (physical attractiveness delta △R2=0.147, F(1.308)=30.92, P< 0.01, physical self sense of value delta △R2=0.257, F(1,308)=144.462,P< 0.01) and profile of mood states (tense delta △R2=0.114, F(1,309)=40.042, P< 0.01; anger, △R2=0.369, F(1,309=188.485, P< 0.01; fatigue delta △R2=0.097,F(1,309)=36.049, P< 0.01; depression delta △R2= 0.206,F(1,308) =83.133, P< 0.01; energy delta △R2=0.088, F(1,308)=31.185, P<0.01, panic delta △R2= 0.611, F(1,308)= 586.382, P< 0.01) were compared to the non exercise of elderly people are more active.Conclusion:(1) In an outdoor cycling exercise is conducive to the improvement of the elderly, physical self-esteem, and mood state, and elderly people in the non exercise group compared to relatively good, negative mood state relatively less for outdoor cycling exercise in the elderly physical self-esteem and mood state.(2) Exercise load is more conducive to improve the elderly’s physical self-esteem; ease the tension, fatigue, panic in the elderly mood state; high exercise load only in the depression dimension is better than the middle and low exercise load. Therefore, outdoor exercise load is not better, should It differs from man to man.
