According to Compulsory education English Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition),evaluation of primary school stage based on formative evaluation. Language of primary school English teachers’ classroom evaluation is one aspect of formative evaluation,reasonable use of the classroom evaluation language has an impact on inspiring students’ interest in English learning, improving the comprehensive ability of using language, and promoting English literacy.The research mainly adopts the literature research method, questionnaire survey method,interview method and case analysis method to investigate primary school English teachers’ classroom evaluation language. Taking Jinzhou city as an example, primary school English teachers are interviewed, and pupils are investigated. The investigation from seven dimensions: the status of classroom evaluation language; the targeted of classroom evaluation language; the fairness of classroom evaluation language; the richness of classroom evaluation language; the training of classroom evaluation language; the use of Chinese in the classroom evaluation language; the use of silent language in classroom evaluation language. Through the investigation, we find that current situation of primary school English teacher’ classroom evaluation language has many problems such as lack of richness, lack of targeted and so on.Analyzing the causes of existing problems, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures from the following six aspects to improve primary school English teachers’ classroom evaluation language:improving the status of classroom evaluation language,detailing the content of classroom evaluation language,treating every student fairly,transporting Chinese evaluation, applying silent language and conducting teachers to enrich their evaluation language.Based on the current situation of English teachers’ classroom evaluation, analyzes the existing problems and causes, and puts forward some pertinent suggestions for the application of classroom evaluation language of English teachers in primary schools.
