Self-confidence is the only way to success. also it is the indispensable mental quality and moral support in one’s way to success. Pupil is in the initial stage of physical and mental development, and self-confidence is one of the key factors affecting one’s overall development. Moderate level of confidence can promote pupil’s healthy development both in body and mind, on the contrary, low confidence level not only can affect the individual all-round development, but also can hinder the formation of healthy personality, which will cause a very adverse impact on one’s later growth. So pupil’s self-confidence should be paid more attention in the stage of primary school.The effect of dance and other sports is basically the same, that is all sports not only have the effect of physical exercise, but also let people in a positive attitude toward life, which has a good psychological adjustment. As for dancer, it is different, dancer can fully display and release themselves in the music, and also dancer can improve their self-confidence by wearing beautiful dresses, jewelries and through performances.The experimental scheme is divided into four stages: enlightenment education of dance; transition of dance teaching content; deepen dance teaching content; sublimation of dance teaching content and the formation.The result shows that:1. The result of the survey that measures pupil’s self-confidence in one of the Chongqing city’s primary schools shows that the self-confidence level of pupil in urban is higher than that in rural; the self-confidence level of pupil in original family is higher than that of single parent family or blended family; the self-confidence level of the only child is higher than that of the non-only child; the self-confidence level of the pupil who hold a position in class is higher than that of ordinary students; the self-confidence level of pupil who take an active part in school activities is higher than that of students who are not actively participate in activities; the self-confidence level of pupil who is often praised is higher than that of pupil who is not praised.2. The experimental scheme that dance training cooperates with group guidance is effectively enhanced the pupil’s self-confidence. After the experiment, it is found that the self-confidence level of the experimental group is absolutely higher than that of the control group. Thus, it is summed up that the experimental scheme that dance training cooperates with group guidance is effectively enhanced the pupil’s self-confidence.
