In recent years, the cases of intangible cultural heritage into the school art class have gradually increased, but many art teachers don’t have clear recognition about the curriculum goals of intangible cultural heritage, and it is very superficial for the interpretation of the intangible cultural heritage in the teaching process. This results the fragmented and poor effect of the courses and leads the courses unable to be promoted not to mention reaching the level of living transmission.This study demonstrates the core values of the intangible cultural heritage into the school art education and combs the traditional craft which is suitable for the middle school curriculum and teaching. We explore the current situation and existing problems of the intangible cultural heritage curriculum and teaching in the middle school of our country through the summary and analysis of the art education core journals, art curriculum standards, art textbooks, questionnaires from many high school teachers and students. We have designed the middle school curriculum programs of intangible cultural heritage and independently developed three unit classes basing on the post-modern curriculum theory, the curriculum integration theory, the theory of multiple intelligences, art education theory, cultural anthropology theory.Firstly, reference to cultural anthropology research method, helping the students deep read and appreciate the intangible cultural heritage arts appreciation course through the issues; secondly, learning the museum-school combine course of intangible cultural heritage in a real situation through the expansion of the intangible cultural heritage learning space; thirdly, through the integration of multidisciplinary, creating the interdisciplinary courses of the practical and modern aesthetic traditional handicraft production in the way of extracting the "traditional elements";in addition, enhancing the intangible cultural heritage curriculum and teaching understanding of the pre-service art teachers with the helping of the pre-service art teachers workshop, and boosting the research of intangible cultural heritage education.
