In the "new curriculum",effective teaching has always been teaching goal to pursue. The classroom focus of students is one of the important factors on the degree of students’ participation in learning, to achieve effective teaching. Study on the students’ attention at home and abroad, mostly conduct by researching the classroom attention behavior of students. At the same time, face detection technology after more than ten years of research upsurge, the relevant algorithm is reaching maturity. It’s applications involving financial, security and artificial intelligence etc., but focus on education research less.For the two above, this thesis proposes the research of classroom focus of students base on face detection, applied face detection technology in the research of teaching, to realize the combination of technology and education. By the study of students’ classroom attention degree to understand the relationship between behavior and learning achievements and the distribution of students’ focus in one class, for teachers to better understanding the student status and class effect, reasonable classroom arrangements,and to achieve more effective teaching.In the process of this topic research integrated application of the literature method, observation method, interview method and statistical analysis method such as research methods. This study selected six years of primary school students as the research object. Using the camera video the sixth grade primary school students in Chinese classroom. Prepared program of face detection using C++ in OpenCV environment to test and statistics the face in the video. Using the ideas of transformation converted the abstract of face data into specific points, according to the gathering of the face point to determine the face region. The Paper selected behavior intention of the majority of students as the focus Every 50 frame detected once and successive statistics the number of students’ Effective looked up and the number of effectively lower the head, the sum of them as the focus Through interviews, classroom observation and the provide of teacher to get achievement of student. Then statistical analysis methods, such as graph method is used to explore the relationship between number of students focus and academic achievements and the concentration distribution of college students. Finally using the data analysis software, SPSS, analysis of the students focus time of different grades and the significant difference analysis of the average focus of six groups. The results showed that different grades have significant difference between the number of students to focus on. If grades according to the "low- medium- high", the corresponding number of average focus on of students on the order is in the "low-high- medium" and the paper analyzed the result from the students’ cognitive and intellectual level. From the paper the peak of students focus distribute in three time in the classroom.They are 4-10 minutes, 21-30 minutes and 40-44 minutes in the class. And the 6 groups of students have significant difference in the classroom focus, Finally some suggestions for teachers teaching were put forward. |
