Curriculum content selection has been a concern of the curriculum design.Curriculum content selection is based on certain values of education and curriculum objectives. It is from the knowledge of the discipline, the contemporary social life or learners experience in the process of selecting the curriculum elements.This paper first studies the basic principles of curriculum content selection, and then proposed to sort out the changes of the content selection of Chinese curriculum in primary schools since the reform and opening up and the 18 th Communist Party of China National Congress. Standing in the perspective of socialist core values, deeply analysis the various changes of Chinese curriculum content selection in primary schools, make a rational analysis and judgment, and explore the situation and reason of cuts and adds of the contents in Chinese teaching materials in China in recent years. By combining the situation of our country and the values, make some research on the selection of curriculum content in primary schools.This paper is divided into four chapters, the maim ideas are as follows:The first chapter is an introduction, mainly studies the research background, research characteristics and limitations, the subject significance, the related concept definition, research achievements at home and abroad, the research ideas and methods.The second chapter is to study the basic theory of the curriculum content selection, mainly on two aspects :the orientation and idea of the curriculum content selection. Orientation are illustrated from three aspects:the subject knowledge, the curriculum content selection which is indirect experience, and the learners’ experience. Standards are expounded from two aspects: the learner-centered standard and the curriculum-centered standard.The third chapter is a review of Chinese curriculum content selection in primary schools in China and the analysis of the problem. The first part is mainly to review the overall curriculum standard in the compulsory education period, especially reviews the “Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standard(2011)” and some enlightenment on the content of Chinese course in primary schools. The second part mainly summarizes the change of the Chinese curriculum content selection in primary schools in recent years, and analysis and comment on the major events, so that we can get some enlightenment about the content selection of Chinese course during compulsory education.The fourth chapter is the forward-looking thinking of Chinese curriculum content selection in primary schools based on the perspective of the socialist core values. The first is to understand the socialist core values proposed by the 18 th Communist Party of China National Congress, then analyzes how it is embodied on Chinese in primary schools, and in the end comprehensively analyzes the idea of socialist core values from three levels: national level, social level and personal level. And make forward thinking of the Chinese curriculum content selection in primary schools.
