Research On The Rational Patriotic Education Of Undergraduates

Entering the 21 st century, the world’s political and economic structure have undergone great changes. Under the background of globalization, to seize the opportunity of rapid development in various fields,our country has made remarkable achievements. After the 18 th CPC National Congress, the Party and the state have been strongly emphasizing the importance of the spirit of connotation of the patriotism in all work. At the same time, more and more social hot events raised public awareness of contemporary patriotic education, especially deep thinking about rational patriotic education.In this paper, we considered contemporary undergraduates irrational patriotic problems as the starting point. In the context of undergraduates’ Patriotism Education in Rational patriotic education, discriminatingthe concept between patriotism and nationalism, patriotism and rational patriotism, rational patriotism and irrational patriotism, distilling the theoretically rational patriotic education of undergraduates’ a rich and complementary, highlighting the nee d for rational patriotic education and importance, putting forward practical and targeted measures to carry out patriotic education provided in the New Policy Implications for undergraduates’ rational, scientific sense of patriotism to provide practical embodiment. There was an inextricable contact between the patriotic education of the whole society and the system of undergraduates’ patriotic education. The study not only enriched the current ideological and political education content, improving methods of ideological and political work, to study the work of ideological and political education of the current times and inject more innovation, but also would make some contribution to the enrichment and development of China’s patriotism education system by fo cusing on the contemporary undergraduates’ rational patriotic educational content, issues and exploring countermeasures.During the research, the paper used literature method, observation and survey method to analysis the irrational patriotic awareness and behavior of undergraduates. By the results of the survey and analysis, the paper summarized undergraduates’ rational patriotic problems and whose causes. Finally, it proposed four. four dimensions of countermeasures respectively from the main body, object, surrounding and carrier of Students’ Patriotism Education.Patriotism is not only the core of the cohesion of the Chinese nation, but also the focus of ideological and political education. Only by grasping the essence of rational patriotic can students truly understand the real meaning of patriotism from the deep heart, can they change simple and deep patriotic feelings into rational patriotic consciousness, and then ultimately implement them in the lofty patriotic behavior.
