Exploration On Primary And Secondary School Students’ National Spirit Cultivation In China

The Chinese national spirit is broad and profound, has created the long and brilliant Chinese civilization, and promotes the development of the Chinese nation in five thousand, from one prosperity to another. The Chinese national spirit is the spiritual bond of the Chinese people of all nationalities living together, it is to promote the prosperity of the Chinese nation spirit power."If the young man is strong, the country will be strong!" The children are the future of the country and the hope of the nation, they have a special historical mission and responsibility for their country, and they are directly related to the country’s future and destiny. The national spirit should be cultivated from pupils. Currently, there are so many researches on the education about the teenagers’ national spirit, but little on the age of primary and secondary students. So, there is large research space and practical significance for the cultivation for the national spirit of pupils.This paper is divided into seven parts: The first part is the introduction. In this section, it describes the background and significance of this topic, research status and the main research methods. The second part is an overview of the issue on national spirit cultivation for students. The concept of the national spirit and the spirit of the Chinese nation is introduced in this chapter. The scope of the student national spirit is defined and the importance of cultivating the national spirit has been set out. The third part is the investigation and analysis of the present situation of primary and middle school students’ national spirit. Through questionnaire and on spot visit, the problems of the national spirit on current primary and secondary school students are summed up, and the problems existing in the national spirit cultivation of primary and secondary school students are also analyzed.The forth part shows the importance and challenges. The main problems that the pupils perform on the national spirit have been annalysed in this part. The new situation and new challenges on cultivation of the national spirit will be faced have been analyzed respectively through the following respects: the impact of domestic and international environment, the drawbacks of the school education, the family education problems and the students’ own limitations, and so on. The fifth part describes lessons and reference from the national spirit of the Chinese ancient and other countries. The valuable experience of the ancient Chinese school and family education has been summed up. The successful experience of cultivating national spirit from the United States, Japan, Germany and other countries has also been summed up to be the reference and inspiration for the current development work. The sixth part is the principles and priorities of the student cultivation of national spirit. The basic principles adhere to student-centered, focused, comprehensive practice, times and cooperate with each other. The nurturing focus has been put forward as:firming "Chinese Heart," consisting "Chinese culture", doing good job on "Chinese moral " and reflecting "the times". The seventh part is the way of cultivating the students’ national spirit, the way of implementation of students’ national spirit cultivation has been explained and innovated deeply by learning from the successful experience from ancient China and other countries, with considering about the current status of Chinese itself.This paper expects that, the grim situation and problem of the students national spirit cultivation is analyzed clearly, the significance understood and the better way found. And the work of cultivating students national spirit will be promoted effectively, generations of socialism successors, who love their nation, serve their country and devote to career, will be cultivated to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
