The application of 3S technology in secondary and school geography teaching is the request of the modern education information, it is the need of the development of the times. From the perspective of technology, there is no necessary link between 3S technology and school education, but it has the possibility of the education industry as a kind of "communication technology". In the face of increasingly complex man and land relationship contradiction, ecological environment change, shortage of resources and the rapid development of society and realistic problems, to cultivate and improve the students found the problem, ask questions, solve the problem such as geography information literacy will have higher requirements. Therefore, the 3S technology education popularization task in our country secondary and high school geography teaching process appears to be more urgent.At present, theoretical research and practical application of "3S" education in our country is still in the initial stage, based on this background, this paper focuses on the3 S technique to proper application in geography teaching in secondary and high school to explore and research, in order to help the future 3S education popularization and application and the improvement of teaching mode plays a valuable role.The first part, introduction. This paper mainly introduces the research background,research significance, domestic and foreign research and application status, research methods and technical routes.The second part, theoretical basis. This paper mainly introduces the theoretical basis of 3S technology applied in secondary and high school geography teaching,including Constructivism Learning Theory, Multiple Intelligence Theory and Cognitive Psychology Theory.The third part, the main principles and applicable content classification of the 3S technology in the secondary and high school geography teaching in the application process. In combination on the basis of geography curriculum standard for secondary and high school and geography textbook, analysis and summarized the application of3 S technology in geography teaching, the basic principles, and of secondary and high school geography textbooks in appropriate use of 3S technology makes a briefclassification of teaching content, in order for teachers using 3S technology to geography teaching is facilitated.The fourth part is the basic process and empirical analysis of 3S technology applied in the secondary and high school geography teaching. On the basis of discussing the general steps of 3S teaching, aiming at the content type, two typical teaching cases of 3S were designed to discuss the educational function of 3S. It is proved that 3S can be used in the teaching of Geography in secondary and high school.I hope to play a positive role in promoting the research and popularization of 3S education in the future.The fifth part, the application of 3S technology in the secondary and high school geography teaching. 3S technology from the theoretical level can indeed play a practical and unique role in the geography class. However, in the process of practical popularization and application, there are still many obstacles and restrictions in 3S education. The some high schools in Yantai City as an example, mainly through using questionnaire, to survey the situation of application of Yantai, some secondary and high school of 3S technology in geography teaching, and in view of the existing problems, and puts forward the corresponding measures to solve the problems.The sixth part, conclusion and prospect. In the end, this paper makes a brief summary and discussion of the research content of the article, points out the existing problems and future efforts.
