The Teaching Design To Chinese Film And TV Series Elective Course For Thai Senior High School Students

In recent years, more and more people are learning Chinese. Many schools in Thailand have opened Chinese language course and some of which have opened the Chinese language major for senior students. Most school opened Chinese comprehensive course, which can improve students’ listening speaking reading and writing ability in the same course. But Chinese comprehensive course mainly emphasized the contents of textbook. Students rarely have a chance to speak, therefore it’s necessary to open the Chinese oral course or the Chinese visual-audio-oral course, where students can improve their communicative ability.In order to improve Chinese communicative ability of Thai senior students, the author will use Chinese film and TV series to open Chinese film and TV series selective course. Students can contact the authentic Chinese accent and spoken language by watching and learning a part of Chinese film and TV series. This can effectively improve students’ listening and speaking ability and students can learn about things that they can’t normally learn in the class. For example, Chinese local customs and culture.The author wishes this research can provide some help to Chinese teacher in Thailand. The author expect to use Chinese film and TV series for effectively improve Thai senior students’ communicative ability. Hope this research can make some contributions to China and Thailand.
