The Research Of Social Case Work Intervention For Cybercrime Prevention

Rampant cybercrime is obvious to all, but at present, when the society is developing rapidly, the prevention of cybercrime is still in an exploratory stage. Globally, countries are constantly putting into force to fight against and prevent cybercrime, but in the real world, cybercrime is still showing a rising trend, which has brought great harm to the stability of the whole society and the legitimate rights & interests of citizens.There are still many problems in the current work of cybercrime prevention, which has a direct impact on cybercrime prevention effect. The problems include both subjective aspect and objective aspect, but on the whole, the present precautions are taken regarding cybercrime as a general crime, and the traditional concepts and methods of prevention are still adopted without taking its own characteristics of cybercrime into account. Apparently, the traditional concepts of preventive measures are unable to keep up with the rapid development pace of today’s Internet era. Traditional and passive prevention work lacks of deep understanding and cognition on cybercrime. In the traditional crime prevention work, although social work has already been involved in, it has little impact in the field of crime prevention, and the utilization rate is also low. On one hand, that’s because people have less awareness of social work, and on the other hand, that’s also because academic and professional fields lack of research and exploration on social work intervention mechanism.Through researching and combing of the documentation related with cybercrime prevention and the deep understanding of the cybercrime, we firmly believe that social work intervention in cybercrime prevention is bound to achieve positive results. In the course of intervention mechanism study, we investigated and studied the intervention objects and their living conditions by adopting the methods of data collection, surveys, interviews, and striving for resource support, etc. and through case practice and application of social work method in the cybercrime prevention problem, to develop the advantage of social work’s values and ideas, method and techniques. We found that the intervention of social work can effectively remedy the weakness of the idea, method and strategy of current cybercrime prevention, which could open up a novel thinking for solving cybercrime problem. At the same time, with the continuous development of social work in our country, the national macroscopic policy support and the need of social development itself, the social work professional institutions and talents are constantly growing, which provides a favorable external condition to a wide range of social work intervention in the face of cybercrime prevention problems. On the basis of learning from professional social work theory, towards two different types of work object, this paper tries to use the scientific method of social work intervention into the cybercrime prevention practice, in order to improve the work object’s personal problem solving ability, ability of adapting to social environment and the ability to overcome difficulties, thereby to help work object stay away from the illegal crime and goes to normal life orbit step by step. It not only has obtained a good effect but also has extracted a generalized intervention work steps. Remedied the deficiencies of traditional intervention strategies and highlighted the special role of social work in the prevention of crime. In addition, by assessing the effect of the intervention work which further validates the effectiveness of social work in solving practical problems.
