School of Social Work is one of the important areas of social work, originated in the United States in the late 19 th and early 20 th century, has been a hundred years of history. In China, although it has not yet formed a professional mode in the work, but their professional and academic have already shone in the field of school.As an international metropolis of Shanghai behinds economic prosperity, cultural openness and a high degree of social mobility, there is also a gap between rich and poor differentiation, social integration difficulties and high rate of juvenile crime and other social problems. For the prevention of juvenile delinquency, promoting social integration and maintaining social stability, Shanghai began to explore social work services in schools since the early 2000 s. M Zone is one of the earliest regions in Shanghai to explore the school of social work.M zone relying on the social work agencies about youth to work with delinquent teenagers as a breakthrough to reducing the crime rate for the target of the government, mainly through "inter-school social workers" to carry out social work in primary and secondary schools. This work has made great achievements. M Zone becomes a typical model of social work school in Shanghai and China. It has a distinctive local characteristics. At the same time, this mode with a strong government-led and a distinctive feature of the prevention of delinquent teenagers has also encountered many difficulties about lacking of control of the agency, limited participation of students, and school social workers of instability.On the basis of studies about school social work, I try to use the theory of ecosystem analysis to analysis the dilemma of the school social work in M District.School social work is the process with the balance of social work school system and social environment.
