The Exploration On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Values

With the development of contemporary economic society, members of the community are required to promote their ideas and self-cultivation, and focus on the issue of values has been heightened. As the talents of the country, the values of college students has become a matter of concern, which drew the attention of the government, society, and colleges. As an important part in systematic education and the ideological and moral construction of college students, the development of college students’ values plays an irreplaceable part in the process of the growth of college students. It is one of the most important theoretical and practical subjects of the progress of Chinese society to strengthen college students’ values, ascertaining the rules of the development of college students’ values, improve college students’ ideological and moral qualities, and prevent the deviation of college students’ values.This article mainly adopt literature research method, multidisciplinary synthetic method, and systematic analysis method to explore the values of college students. First of all, the author analyzes and states the basic theories, such as related concepts of values, the values of college students, the cultivation of college students’ values, and the characteristics, comments, rules and functions of college students’ values. Second, the author analyzes the problems and causes of the cultivation of college students’ values from several aspects, including the lack of practice mechanism, the disconnect of knowledge education and the formation of values, the underdevelopment of the concept of education, the singleness of the cultivation of values, the separation of theoretical education and cultivation practices, and the missing of self-cultivation. Furthermore, the author states the solutions to cultivate the values of college students, including the basic principles, effective path, basic methods, and the construction of social system. Finally, the author summarizes the research and reaches a conclusion to the cultivation of college students’ values.
