Autonomous learning is a reflection of self-determination, self-selection, self-regulation and self-evaluation in learning activities. The development direction of modern education network and information technology have determined that the autonomous learning mode has become more and more diversified and independent. With its unique advantage, Micro video make the learner more initiative in learning. The learners are able to take control of their own learning as their habits, which avoid the interference of outside environment and achieve more efficient learning effect. This paper study the application in order to give full play to the micro video teaching resources in autonomous learning.Research content mainly includes four aspects: first, the related concepts and theoretical basis, including the concept and characteristics of autonomous learning, the development of autonomous learning, the theoretical basis of autonomous learning, the advantages of autonomous learning and fusion micro video of autonomous learning mode; Two, micro video teaching resources design, including the design background, resource type, resource material, resource script, resource production process and resource compression storage, etc.; Three is the production of micro video teaching resources, including the comparison and selection of micro video production tools, production steps, recording process and production examples of micro video, etc.; Four is micro video application and analysis, to analyzes its application effect according to the micro video teaching resources experiment, points out the problems of design and application of micro video, and the corresponding countermeasures.In this paper, the design and production for micro video teaching resources, gives a specific design and manufacture method, which has an important role in promoting micro video teaching resources in the autonomous learning application. The conclusion of application effect analysis of the micro video teaching resources is obvious, which has some help to improve the level of the self-regulated learning. It can make most of the students develop a positive attitude to learning, effectively improve the learning interest and learning efficiency. The solution in view of the micro video design and application to the problem is, the attention of the micro video teaching resources, to strengthen the usefulness of micro video teaching resources and improve the quality of micro video teaching resources and so on.
