| Smart phones have been widely popular in the last few years, especially in college students. So far almost every college student has one or more smart phone. Such a situation has brought potential problems to a part of the university classroom. Under the background of the popularity of smart phones, the project using WeChat official accounts to strengthen the interaction between teachers and students in the classroom, guide students’ attention back to the real classroom, which is the purpose of the project described in this paper.In order to accomplish this purpose the project completed a WeChat official accounts with classroom quiz, class roll call, course result distribution and other functions, a website that supports the WeChat official accounts and a short text clustering algorithm for statistical analysis of classroom quiz’s answers. The project uses J2EE and standard three-tier architecture, it adopts MVC pattern for designing and some technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, Play, Natural Language Processing, short text clustering etc.College teachers and students can use the WeChat official account to simplify the traditional classroom interaction process. Classroom quiz can complete in a few minutes which need students to submit paper answer in the traditional approaches, and teachers can get the statistical analysis results immediately. Class roll call can also complete via the WeChat official account, and teachers can get the statistical analysis results after students complete this roll call.At present, the WeChat official account named ke tang bang shou and the website has been on the line, and has been used by many university teachers. Short text clustering technology which used by the project is also a good result, and this technology has applied for a patent to the patent office. The framework of the project, which formed in the development process, has been applied in the laboratory follow-up project. |
