In the coming College Entrance Examination of Sichuan Province in 2016, the National Volumes will be used in certain subjects, while up to 2017,they will be used in all subjects.High school teachers in Sichuan Province are quite familiar with the testing forms and the syllabuses of Sichuan Volumes,since the Sichuan Volumes have been used in our province for ten years and have been extensively studied.We are not so confident about the National Volumes because they are new to us and have not been studied so much.On the purpose of making the review for the College Entrance Examination more effective,the difference between the National Volumes and Sichuan Volumes were studied through the comparative research of volumes of 2013-2015.The necessity of the comparative research has been discussed in the first part of this paper.The survey on the two kinds of volumes have been summarized.The differences between the examination descriptions,paper structures and the scoring methods have been compared in the next part.The distributions,frequency and the additions of the two kinds of the volumes have also been compared based on the papers of the recent 3 years. The research emphasized on the different proposition styles of the two kinds of volumes.The contrast has been made between the National Volumes and the Sichuan Volumes on the basic skills,subject ideology,comprehensive utilization,innovativeness.Through the research above,some implications are abtained:first,the examination descriptions must be studied carefully;second,the examination papers of resent years need to be analysed deeply and make full use of;third,give attention to the different emphasis of the two kinds of volumes;forth,stand on the textbooks and the basic knowledge;fifth,cultivate the students’ ability and literacy of Chemistry learning.According to my teaching practice,I speculated how to change our way of teaching through a example of Instructional design,in order to face the challenge of the National Volume in the coming College Entrance Examination.
