As an integrated part of natural science, biology is a comprehensive subject with rich knowledge, methods, spirit and attitude.It covers a wide range of knowledge and systematic.It is difficult for students to grasp, how to make students easily construct complex networks of biological knowledge, and clearly and quickly to solve biological problems has become an important breakthrough in biology teaching.Schema, as the core concept of schema theory, is an organized knowledge structure,which has a strong generality, reasoning and mobility.In recent years, many scholars have applied schema theory to the field of subject teaching, which has been gradually extended to science, but the current schema theory still lacks a comprehensive and systematic research in biology.To this end, the author chooses the design and practice of high school biology classroom teaching based on schema theory,in order to find a teaching method that can optimize the teaching of biology in the classroom.I refer to a large number of domestic and foreign literature before in-depth study of schema theory.then based on this theory as the instruction toanalysis the influence of schema theory in the classroom teaching of teaching methods, teaching objectives and activities,and carry the teaching philosophy systematic study to teaching practice.According to the schema theory in the teaching application and high school biology characteristics of new curriculum, the use of schema theory of system design and design in senior high school biology classroom teaching,and try to apply it to the high school biology classroom teaching practice.To this end, the author takes an empirical study.Before and after the experiment, the experimental class and the control class students’ learning achievement test, and the obtained data were processed by SPSS19.0 software, the application of Schema Theory in senior high school biology teaching effect was evaluated.In order to ensure the improvement of the experimental results and to provide more suggestions for future schema theory in biology teaching practice, questionnaire and individual interview were carried out before and after the experiment.Through the investigation and analysis of the experimental results, it is shown that the schema theory is applied to the teaching of biology in senior high school, which obviously improves the students’ academic performance, and theinfluence of the girls is higher than that of the boys. At the same time, the students’ learning interest, learning efficiency, self-learning ability and other aspects also have obvious improvement.
