With the gradual intensity of globalization and quick development of modernization, the cultural ecology of our country has changed a lot and intangible cultural heritage has also undertaken great impact.Some cultural relics depending on oral instruction or behavior inheritance and many traditional arts are gradually disappearing. "Chinese traditional music" is the traditional music culture popular in Tangshan (in Hebei Province). It is our precious intangible cultural heritage and its survival and inheritance face great challenge.It is the problem we need to solve as to how to protect and inherit "Chinese traditional music".Curriculum standards of music class compulsory education (edition of 2011) has clearly pointed out that local governments and schools should develop their own regional, national school music class resource.They should apply local folk music especially the music items of intangible cultural heritage to music classes so that students will be affected by folk music since their early age and form the sense of inheriting folk music culture.In order to fulfill the requirements of the curriculum standards of Ministry of Education,enrich the content of music class in primary school in Qianxi County and inherit excellent folk music,I put traditional music in the primary school music teaching practice.This paper will integrate the "Chinese traditional music" culture into teaching cases. It enriches the course content, makes the course atmosphere lively, arouses the enthusiasm of pupils, develops the creative ability and obtains significant achievement. It is also important to inherit and develop.
