Biology is a natural science based on experiment, and experiment is the basic characteristic of biology, and it is also the important content of the biology curriculum. Throughout the development of biological science, we can find the scientists through repeated experiments, making the biological theory in the biological scientific knowledge improve.As a result, biological experiment plays an important role in biological research and biological education.Since the Ministry of Education promulgated ordinary high school biology curriculum standards in 2003, the new curriculum reform has been continuously carried on.Based on the new curriculum concept, the new curriculum target and the content system makes new requirements.The new curriculum reform emphasizes the scientific experiment is a means, mainly used to promote the formation and development of the biological science knowledge.Through repeated experiments, and constantly to verify the learning of biological knowledge is correct, we continue to explore new biological phenomena that may occur, so as to establish a new biological knowledge, and constantly improve the systems biology.This suggests that in high school biology teaching, it is significant to cultivate the scientific literacy of students, make students lifelong development, it is an essential means for the student to carry on the experiment teaching, which also shows the importance of biological experiments.Through literature review, this paper is to understand the current situation of biological experimental teaching at home and abroad, and to understand the gap between domestic and foreign biological experiment teaching.According to the present situation of the school biology experiment teaching, I design the pertinence student investigation questionnaire, then randomly extracts the class and grade to carry on the questionnaire survey in the campus. The data of the survey, is processed using Excel software, then a detailed analysis is carried out base on the results of the processing data, to analyze what factors will affect the effectiveness of biological experimental teaching.It is pointed out that there are some problems in biological experiment teaching which may exist and remains unsolved.Through the analysis of the problem, it is to find a reasonable solution, and propose solutions to meet the current biological teaching needs, and meet the requirements of the new curriculum standards for biological experiments.To improve the effectiveness of biological experiment teaching, the research is mainly from three stages.First, the teaching preparation strategy before the experiment mainly emphasizes the preparation of the students and the experiment preparation of the teacher. Second the strategy of the experiment teaching is mainly to explain how to carry out the experiment teaching.that includes the following aspects:the application of information technology for teaching assisting, in the students’ experiment, the teachers acts as the guide, and the students carried out the group cooperation to complete the experiment. Third after the experimental teaching is finished, the main emphasis is to promote the importance of biological experiment teaching.Through a series of research suggestions, it has a certain reference for both teachers and students, and it can reach some validity.
