With the development of Internet and the innovation of Mobile Network technology, traditional social pattern has been changed and the interaction in human’s daily life has also been extended to virtual space, since social network era breaks the limit between time and space. The social network called Social Network Site (SNS) provides online interaction service to its user. It is a new internet revolution eve for the birth and popular of SNS, since the existence of it helps people to find social relation chains to form the complex Social Network.Due to the arisen of Socialized Media, Users has an equal, open and also decentralized communication platform.Users are no longer passive receivers, but the creators and disseminators, which means SNS provides a self-presentation platform to every user. ’Self-presentation’was first presented by Goffman in his book Self-presentation in Daily Life. Goffman s "Drama Theory" is mainly focus on the research in the way that how people control their own information flows and how to manage their own image in social interaction. Nowadays, people can interact with each other through internet, present themselves more openly, construct and reshape themselves through the process of self-presentation.This research combined with the literature research, text analysis, questionnaire investigation and other methods to take college students as research subjects on self-presentation. After the analysis with SPSS 19.0 statistical software, established College Students’s Self-presentation Scale in SNS and Real Life based on the data from 365 college students. The result comes to:(1)College students’ self-presentation on internet shows significant differences in the demographic Variable.(2)College students’ self-presentation in real life shows significant differences in the demographic variable.(3)College students’ self-presentation shows significant differences between Internet and real life.Combine’Drama Theory’with indepth interviews, its found in the theory that:SNS has become an important tool for college students to express themselves, communicate with each other and to get information about social cognition. In the meantime, social networks have brought the difficulties about self-identity for college students, caused confusion between the virtual self and real self, the myth of value choice, the dislocation of the offline interpersonal issues, and also attempts to explore the causes of those problems.
