In the process to advance in depth of the new curriculum reform, the Case Teaching Methodology that has been widely applied in the classroom teaching also acquires continuous development and improvement.Combined with the characteristics of Ideological and Political course, the "Single Consistent Example" Methodology, a derivation from the Case Teaching Methodology with citation of only one consistent example in a whole class, shows a unique advantage in the classroom teaching activities of Ideological and Political course due to its characteristics of thorough analysis, coherent thinking, clear logic, etc.However, in specific teaching practice, the obstacles and limitations still exist in the application of the "Single Consistent Example" Methodology, and we need to accumulate experience through constant summary and reflection.In this article, the author, based on her personal teaching practice in the lesson of Value and Values, emphatically expounds the strategy adopted in this lesson concerning the "Single Consistent Example" Methodology, analyzes the characteristics and advantages of the "Single Consistent Example" Methodology, and also proposes the corresponding countermeasures regarding the existed obstacles and limitations of the same.
