With the deterioration of the ecological environment and the enhancement of environmental protection consciousness, people pay more attention to the concept of sustainable development. In the third plenary session of 18 of the CPC, the construction of ecological civilization was promoted to be equal to the economic, political, cultural, social, and became one of the layout of building socialism with characteristics. Middle school historical teaching should not only let students learn the textbook knowledge, but also find historical teaching resources from the contents of the existing textbooks, grasp the law of historical development and care for reality. In the face of environmental deterioration, middle school historical teaching should arouse students’ awareness of ecological protection, and play a function in middle school historical teaching. In this paper, with the introduction and the improvement on the view of ecological combined with the specific teaching, the view of ecological and the relevant content of the basic concepts are explained, and at the same time, under the influence of its relationship, the necessity, importance of the combination of the view of ecological and middle school historical teaching and its necessary conditions are explored on this basis.The view of ecological in middle school historical teaching does not only pay attention to the people in history but also the relationship between the people in history and the nature. The view of ecological implemented in middle school historical teaching can stimulate students’ learning interest, change their learning style, develop their learning ability, deepen their understanding of human society sustainable development, strengthen the responsibility of building a harmonious society, and promote teachers’ professional development, improve teaching ability and make their classes more efficient. Based on the theory and practice of education, and combined with the requirements and contents of school history curriculum standards, this paper discusses how to implement the view of ecological in middle school historical teaching, and put forward the guiding principle, basic procedures and safeguard measures, and the paper also does practical research and investigation on the current implementation of the view of ecological in middle school historical teaching. In practical research, the teaching cases are explored in the form of rich historical teaching content to stimulate students learning interest, to change the learning mode, to cultivate the effective way of the value of the research. Through practical research we found the disadvantages of the implementation of the view of ecological in middle school historical teaching, finding solution to the problem by the awareness training, teachers guidance and improvement of the level of the instruction in order to attract the attention of middle school historical teaching to improve middle school historical teaching. Implementing the view of ecological cannot be able to achieve in the history classroom teaching in a short time. We need to continue working hard and exploring.
