The three dimensional goals advocated by the English Curriculum Standard include knowledge and skills, process and method, and emotional attitude and values. They embody the basic concept of the New Curriculum and the basic way of the Quality education in the course of the subject, which reflect the objective rule of the students’ harmonious development, the development of personality and the development of life. However, since the implementation of the New Curriculum Standard, most English teachers have studied the efficient class, but the extracurricular activity, as a powerful supplement and extension of English classroom teaching, is not paid enough attention to. Some teachers lack the effective design and correcting consciousness of homework; they only use the old exercises and either outsource the correction task to other tutors, or choose not to make any correction. Some teachers only pursuit the entrance rate and the learning results, they ignore the learning process and methods of teaching and hardly consider the students’ emotional attitude to the English homework, and thus it makes the students lack the correct values of the English extracurricular activities.
