There’re a variety of interpersonal relationships in a school. Among these complicated interpersonal relationships, the relationship between teachers and students is the most important and most basic one, which influences not only the physical and spiritual development of students, but also the improvement of teachers’ quality. However, due to the lack of caring between teachers and students in the traditional junior middle school class management, there are some disharmony in the relationship between them, such as tension, contradiction, indifference and conflict, which result in the inactivity of the whole class. Therefore, we shall build the caring interpersonal relationship between teachers and students based on Nel Noddings’ ethic of care to help students to learn to care others while they are cared by teachers, so that the class may have a good atmosphere of fairness, respect and progress of teaching and learning.Based on Nel Noddings ethic of care, the paper explores the establishment of care-oriented teacher-student relationship in junior middle school class management by using the educational narrative research method. It presents the real scenarios of teacher-student communication in class management by cases and reveals the teachers and students’ real inner world. It also gives full scope to such methods as teaching introspection, teaching diary, interview, and material collection to discover how to enable teachers and students to care each other. Finally, the paper comes up with some effective strategies and suggestions on how to build a care-oriented teacher-student relationship in junior middle school class management. The paper mainly consists of the following 5 chapters:Chapter 1:Preface.
