The Quality Analysis Of Graduate Students Studying In China

In the trend of economic globalization increasingly significant and increasingly close international relations background, internationalization has become an important strategic objective of national higher education. States sent more and more students to other countries, but also more and more attention to the enrollment.The size and quality of intenational students has become an important indicator of a school as well as the national and international level to measure the level of higher education, graduate students as one of the important part, also give some reflects to the development of academic standards.2014, China’s total foreign postgraduate students received 47,990 people, an increase of 18.2% compared with 2013, the number of graduate students studying in China is growing rapidly, more and more colleges and universities look the international students education as a way to enhance the level of internationalization, to expand college’s international influence.30 years of reform and opening up, China’s international graduate students education have been expanding, at the same time, has cultivated a number of high overall quality talents. While graduate education show good momentum of development, but also exposed some problems:the relevant national regulations and policies is lagging behind, can not meet the development of graduate education abroad;the size of graduate students although can’t compared with developed countries. School culture incomplete specifications and regulations also need to be improved.Based on these questions, the issue made a survey with dean of the Graduate Schools and tutors of 38 universities in China, survey results show that the most important question of international graduate studens is the poor quality of students. Therefore, the isuue focous on the quality of international graduate students,based on the survey, case analysis,factor analysis to dig the deep reasons of poor quality and give some advices.
