The level of students’ physical quality has a great influence on the future development of our country. It is very important to stimulate students’interest in the development of physical and mental health. Big break sports activities is to further refine the sunshine sports, is the school’s specific implementation of the sun sports activities of specific guidance, is to let the sun sports education more organized, with the effect of the norms.This paper takes the current situation and content of the sports activities in Primary School of Ankang city as the object of study. The value and significance of sports activities in Ankang city are analyzed by means of literature, questionnaire, interview method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis.The following conclusions are drawn from the study:(1) 89.4% of the students are welcome to the big break sports activities and are willing to participate.(2) at present, the development of sports activities in Ankang city is relatively simple, and the diversification of sports activities is insufficient.(3) in different regions, different regions are restricted by different factors, and the site equipment and leadership attention are the biggest obstacle to the development of the middle school.(4) the school’s teaching support for the big break sports activities is insufficient, can not meet the needs of the students.(5) at present, there is no high participation of middle school students in primary school in Ankang city.(6) school based cultural development in school for the big break sports activities.(7) the Ankang city big break sports activities carried out in the channel less.
