Purpose:Based on the theoretical basis of the BMD research achievement, the project takes 32 middle-aged men as research object, discovers and analyzes the change on how jogging influences the bilateral lower limb bone density and body composition of the middle-aged man during 16 weeks, and seeks the group of people who benefit most from jogging. The research aims at providing a scheme for those people with unreasonable body composition and particularly the middle-aged men to improve fitness and reduce the morbidity of OP, and lead them to establish proper lifestyle, so to reduce the burden on society to prevent OP.Method:The thesis adopts various research methods, such as literature review, experimentation, mathematical statistics and so on, and selects 32 male volunteers who live in Xi’an for a long run and whose age vary from 45 to 59 to participate the test and accept jogging exercise intervention. It is demanded that the volunteers are health without any serious disease or genetic disease history, and do not take any medicine that have any effect on results during the test period. The 32 volunteers are divided into three groups randomly, 8 people whose ages vary from 45 to 49, 12 people vary from 50 to 54, and other 12 people from 55 to 59, all these volunteers participate in jogging exercise for 16 weeks.Results:The research results indicate that : after jogging exercise for 16 weeks, 8 people whose ages vary from 45 to 49 show differences(p<0.05) in BMD, BMC, SLBM, FFM,including very significant difference(P<0.01)in regional FM, PBF, and not any notable difference(P>0.05) in BMI. 12 people vary from 50 to 54 show differences(p<0.05) in BMD, BMC,FM,PBF, and not any notable difference(P>0.05) in BMI and FFM. Other 12 people from 55 to 59 show differences(p<0.05) in BMD, including very significant difference(P<0.01)in FM, PBF, and not any notable difference(P>0.05) in BMI, BMC, SLBM and FFM. There is difference(P<0.05) in BMC,BMD,SLBM and no difference(P>0.05) in BMI,FM among the three group members after 16 weeks of jogging. So according to the interpretation of the results mentioned above we can draw conclusions as followings.Conclusion:16 weeks Jogging is helpful in promoting the formation of bone tissues, improving the body’s mineral density, Although volunteers aged 45 to 49 show some difference in SLBM,FFM and after 16 weeks of jogging.The 16 week fitness exercise improves body composition of middle-aged men of lower limbs,body composition and improved more reasonable.The volunteers aged from 45 to 49 show great difference in BMD,BMC,SLBM after 16 weeks, that is better than the effect of the fitness program for 45-49 year old subjects aged 50-54,55-59 year old.
