From 1999, recruitment enlargement makes the number of college graduates keeps increasing and makes a situation of employment difficulty. For the past few years, governments at all levels formulated entrepreneurship policy to encourage college students’ start-ups. However, the actual effects need to be further studied. Teamwork is a common form that centralize the power. It is the foundation of a successful entrepreneurship. Both government and colleges or universities are developing entrepreneurship education. This leads to a question we don’t have a approved answer to that what is the relation between entrepreneurship education and the formation of entrepreneurial team. Since there’s no relatively stable patterns for either entrepreneurship education or the formation process of entrepreneurial team, and the any formation is rather complex and rich in personality. Thus, in terms of organization formation, this article uses qualitative research method to explore how college students’ entrepreneurial team formed and the factors that can influence the formation.This choose two entrepreneurial teams of Sichuan Normal University as sample and the reasons are: a) the members of both teams are the undergraduates of Sichuan Normal University; b) they are all newly founded, which means easy to get in touch with and reliable experience; c) they are the most representative among the same type; d) Yi’an team accepts policy support and Huahudie’s not. The comparison will indicate the impact of policies on college students’ entrepreneurial team.The first part is the retrospect of the course that both teams formed. In this part, the author use in-depth interview to collect and organize information and describe the periodical situation of the team development. The difference between taking policy support and not taking policy support is shown in the process.In the second part, author analyzes correlative factors that influence team formation by using four factors model of organizational formation theory. From team member viewpoint, enterprising spirit, entrepreneurial intentions, personal traits, relation structure, competence structure are positively correlated to the formation for the team. Then author made a longitudinal survey about the formation of one of the team and found that all entrepreneurial team has to experience three stages: creating primary goals, turbulent period and definite direction and cohesion period. In terms of entrepreneurial environment, policies motivated Yi’an members’ entrepreneurial intentions and offer them reasonable assistance while Huahudie expecting entrepreneurial policies though they didn’t get policy support. As a important part of entrepreneurial environment, entrepreneurial education has impact on both team’s formation. Entrepreneurship courses and activities can foster entrepreneurial spirit and pioneering ability of college students. Mentor’s guidance and help can enhance positive force and plays a vital role in entrepreneurial team formation.Finally, based on case survey, this study provides reflective thoughts about the problems that exist in current entrepreneurial policies and entrepreneurial education and proposes countermeasures for college or universities to develop entrepreneurial education and suggestions for entrepreneur team. |
