One of the basic concepts of new curriculum reform in high school is to change students’study habits and improve their learning initiative. Flipped classroom, brought into new curriculum reform in high school as an unique and innovative teaching mode, has changed students’study habits as well as teachers’view on students, teaching and their occupation. This thesis has analyzed the influence of flipped classroom on transformation of geography study habits in high school, and it has been divided into five parts.In the first part, the research background and significance have been stated on the basis of consulting literature, flipped classroom, study habits and study habits of geography have been defined and the development of flipped classroom both at home and abroad has been described. Based on this, the research method and contents of this thesis has been introduced.In the second part, the thesis has studied the relationship between geography in high school and flipped classroom from three aspects, including geography’s subject characteristic, learning goal and learning content. Besides, the thesis has classified the knowledge of physical geography in high school and proposed the corresponded study habits.In the third part, the thesis has described the shortcomings of geography study habits in high school from the aspects of both teachers and students by analyzing the current geography study habits in high school. In addition, it has studied the reasons that results in current shortcomings of geography study habits in high school from four aspects, including regulation, subject, teaching attitude and study habit.Based on analyzing the reasons for the current shortcomings of geography study habits in high school, the fourth part has put forward the corresponded strategies of transformation of geography study habits affected by flipped classroom in high school from the aspects of regulation, subject, teaching attitude and study habit.Finally, the thesis has made an empirical comparison of the flipped classroom and traditional classroom in a key high school in Taiyuan and built the related mathematical model so as to make a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the two classrooms according to the corresponding mathematical index. In addition, the thesis has studied the implementation of flipped classroom in the key high school in Changsha and evaluated its efficiency. The result shows that the strategies of transformation of geography study habits affected by flipped classroom is efficient and correct.
