Since the quality-oriented education put into practice, people gradually pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ mathematical literacy, education function of the mathematics history is also gradually be recognized. However, the writing of the math teaching materials in our country are generally based on knowledge of systematic teaching contents which according to the concept, theorem, prove, inference, sample order. The introduction of the connotation and process of mathematics knowledge seems too little to improve students’ mathematical literacy and form a correct way of thinking. In this case, if we put the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching, the problem can be solved. Put the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching can benefit the realization of mathematical science value, application value, cultural value and aesthetic value, it can also help to cultivate the students’ interest in math study and stimulate mathematics learning motivation.According to the study, this paper studied the content of Compulsory textbook one to five mathematics history first of all, divided them into three parts: the mathematical history of mathematics in points of text in the textbooks, history of mathematics and the history of mathematics in the reading material, the history of mathematics statistical induction, a total of 57 in the content, including 38 reading material, accounting for 66.7%. And materials found in the history of mathematics into teaching materials in the form of background material, in the majority with descriptive language, mains teaching materials mostly adopts the "additional" to put mathematics history into mathematics teaching, not "integration". In addition, this paper take an investigation to the Elective series three "Selection of mathematical history" content and the teaching present situation to the history of mathematics, This paper read the literature of mathematics history and interview research into the status quo, found that the main problem exist as follow: while exam-oriented education deeply rooted, quality education can be evaded. Teaching methods and modes rely too much on teacher, excellent teaching case reserve not enough; School curriculum is not reasonable, the school attaches great importance to the degree is not high. This paper summarized three principles on the basis of the study mathematical history into teaching: fun novelty, scientific validity, appropriate teach, and use mathematics PPT to state. Finally, this paper selected representative index function, the volume and surface area of formula and the geometric and axiomatic system originally three mathematical knowledge, for example, in the history of mathematics into three principles, at the same time add to "embedded" and "reconstruction", and supplemented by geometric sketchpad on history of mathematics in high school mathematics teaching practice and study. I hope that it will provide reference material for mathematics teaching.
