Study On The Development Strategy Of Postgraduate Education In Hunan Province

Postgraduate education as the top of national education, is the main way to cultivate high level talents, is the embodiment of national talent competition and technological competition, is the core elements of the implementation of innovation driven development strategy and the construction of innovative country. Since the resumption of postgraduate education, postgraduate education in Hunan Province after thirty years of development, has delivered a large number of high level talents for regional economic development. At present, China is in the development of the postgraduate education, Hunan Province how to deal with the new situation, seize the favorable opportunity to the development of postgraduate education, is an urgent problem need to be solved in the process of develop postgraduate education.The main line of the paper is the analysis of postgraduate education development advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and threats in Hunan Province, from the four aspects of the development of ideas, strategic objectives, strategic security, reform task to do strategic choice for the development of postgraduate education. Specifically, the second and three part of the article is to analyze the internal and external conditions of the development of postgraduate education by using the SWOT analysis method, Analysis showed that from the internal conditions, the province’s total economic output to match the scale of postgraduate education; establish degree authorization system is correspond to the industrial development; a group of subjects walking in the country and even the world popular column; explore and practice of talent training new model development, at the same time,the structure of education is irrational; inadequate investment in education funds; supervisor and management team of quantity is not enough. From the external conditions, the opportunities and threats of the development of the postgraduate education coexist in Hunan province.The fourth part in combination on the basis of discussion of the two and three parts, put forward reform task of postgraduate education of Hunan Province to adjusting the postgraduate cultivating target scale and goal, optimizating of the structure of education, reforming of training mode, strengthening the process quality, ensuring the result quality and implementating strategy choice of investment, organization, system, human and platform guarantee.
